The selection of homemade soups was varied and tasty, the hall looked great with the temporary stage bringing the live acts down close to the audience, the support act and MC did us proud (Hello Mark and Jill from the Rhythm Thieves and Mick, everyones favourite veg man), and the headline act, Jamie Smiths Mabon were quite brilliant.The audience of over 100 was enthusiastic and many found spaces among the tables to get up and dance.Many said it was the best live music event at the Comm in years!So, a great night and worth all the effort that went into putting it together.Now to plan the next folk night…
