• Responsibility for the overall management and decision making of KDCC • Responsible for planning the direction and activities of KDCC and its performance • Responsible for directing and monitoring activities and planning for the future
Under the supervision and guidance of the lead volunteers, general help with the running of the Festival, publicity, putting up posters and sharing programme info on social media
Under the supervision and guidance of the Garden Coordinator provide general help with the maintenance and development of the Community Garden project.
To assist and support paid staff, in providing a safe, stimulating and positive environment to enable and empower children to develop socially and emotionally
Under the supervision and guidance of the lead volunteers (Liz Reynolds and Angelique Williams) help deliver light refreshments to stall holders, volunteers and customers
Under the supervision and guidance of the K&DCC administrator, provide reception and office support to staff, volunteers & customers
Under the supervision and guidance of the lead volunteer/ Hub Coordinator help deliver light refreshments to external professionals, volunteers and customers
Under the supervision and guidance of the lead volunteer, help KDCC to deliver Flicks in the Sticks twice monthly
Under the supervision and guidance of the Hub Coordinator and the Kitchen Assistant, volunteers can work in either the kitchen or the Drop-in venue (or both) to support the service delivery of both the Soup from the Hub home delivery and the Drop-in Eatery provision
To support the smooth running of specific and one-off events taking place within the Community Centre or externally, to cover emergency situations such as sick leave or events that are organised urgently (i.e. flood response service)
To support K&DCC Administrator & others in planning, organising, promoting and delivering social events within the Community Centre
Safe delivery of soup lunches to identified customers within Knighton
Under the supervision and guidance of the lead volunteer, help KDCC to deliver a dog walking group
To support staff in the development & provision of comprehensive information, signposting and advisory service to Knighton residents
