About the opportunity

Role Title: Soup from the Hub Volunteer Driver
Hours of work: Thursdays 11.30 – 12.30pm weekly, fortnightly, or monthly
Base: Knighton & District Community Centre (K&DCC)
Accountable to: Annie England

 

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • To read & familiarise yourself with KDCC volunteer policies and guidelines (located on K&DCC website – volunteer section/paper copies available)
  • To sign the volunteer agreement
  • To attend a volunteer induction
  • To attend bi-monthly supervision (not mandatory)
  • To deliver soup lunches in a safe and hygienic manner
  • To socialise with customers if appropriate
  • If volunteer is concerned about customers welfare then a member of staff needs to be notified
    immediately

 

Personal qualities/skills required

  • Comfortable working on their own
  • A full drivers licence and access to car
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Friendly & patient attitude
  • Reliable
