On Saturday morning its the twice-monthly Community Market, this time including a free barbecue offering samples of lamb and pork in homemade bread, and other tasty offerings, all from the markets stallholders.
Then, with hardly a pause for breath, we set up as a checkpoint and food and rest stop for the 4 day King Offas Dyke running race, which starts in Chepstow on the 23rd and passes through Knighton over Saturday night on the way to Prestatyn! And all of this Community Centre activity is coordinated by a tiny group of volunteers beavering away in the background, mostly cheerfully… except when Knightonians tell us that nothing ever happens at the Comm!
