Amandas Breads – Amended ordering deadlines
We are changing the order day for Saturday delivery to Mondays. This will allow us to respond to your enquiry more promptly and to plan our weeks baking If you do miss the deadline you are welcome to get in touch, but please be aware that we are less likely to be able to fulfil your order.

Substitutions
If you are happy to have substitutions for any of our products please tell us this when you order. This is really useful for us to know, thank you.
Seasonal doughs
Although we are out of the hot cross bun season, we still make the same dough (an enriched milk dough with mixed fruit) as a fruit loaf for £3.00 and fruity teacakes for £1.30.
If we are especially busy and baking time is at a premium, we may offer you a fruit loaf instead of fruity teacakes.
Honey, chocolate and eggs
We have raw honey from John Fletcher of Presteigne along with stock of Alexandras organic dark and milk chocolate bars in various handmade wild and unexpected flavours from Continuum Conceits.
Eggs from Glyn Canol Old Farm are available every week…
6 eggs for £1.50 or 6 tiddlers for £1.00
Seasonal variations
Some products will vary week to week according to seasonal fruit and veg, and the availability of ingredients. If you ever have a glut of anything growing in your garden, do get in touch as we always aim to buy and use local produce where possible.
Pasties – always vegan. If you want to know the fillings available please ask. Cakes – we aim to reduce the sugar in all cakes and to use local fruit where possible. Our range of cakes aims to cover the following dietary variations…
– no-gluten
– vegan
– no sugar or fat
– no dairy
……for any other specific dietary needs please let us know.
