The Community Centre recently benefitted from a visit by a group of volunteers from Premier Medical Group, a company based in Ludlow.The group spent a sunny July day at the centre painting most of the window frames, doors and metal railings around the outside of the building.The results look great but of course only one coat was possible in a day.We are now planning a second day of painting to take place on September 11th, only this time the work will be undertaken by – and heres where a big plea goes out to the local community – friends of the Community Centre and any Knightonians who can spare an hour or two for a good cause.We plan to meet outside the Centre at 10am, all armed with a paintbrush or two, and depending on the weather, numbers of volunteers and energy levels, well finish when were finished.All are welcome and tea and coffee will be provided.Bring a picnic.
