Whist, a classic card game, involves four players forming two partnerships. Players aim to win tricks by playing cards of the same suit as the lead or trumping if necessary. No individual trick scoring; the game is usually played to 5, 7, or 9 points. The highest card of the led suit or the trump card wins each trick. Strategy, communication, and observation are crucial for success. After all 13 tricks are played, points are tallied. The player to the left of the previous dealer becomes the new dealer for the next hand. Whist offers engaging gameplay in a friendly, competitive atmosphere.
