Every Monday morning during term time, parents and toddlers can be found enjoying themselves at the Family Centre, which takes place through the morning and into lunchtime in the main hall. The provision is free and has both paid staff and volunteers supporting the play and activities organised for everyone attending. A recent extension of this provision is the Monday Maths session which takes place between 0930 and 1030. Provided by a very experienced, fully qualified, Maths teacher, the programme offers a range of fun, stimulating, activities for pre-school children, and provides lots of exciting suggestions for parents to engage with their toddlers at home.
