WELL-BEING FESTIVAL

Date  / Time: Sunday 22nd September  2024 10am – 4pm
Venue: Knighton and District Community Centre
Free Admission
Due to the huge success of the previous two festivals, this will now be the third year we have held the Well-being Festival in Knighton.
The Festival’s purpose is to provide people with an eclectic mix of stalls, talks and workshops which will hopefully ‘showcase’ a diverse range of all the clinical/medical, holistic and complementary approaches available which all go towards supporting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of our communities. We see the value of the festival as one which can empower individuals allowing them to make informed choices around their health care.
There will be an extensive and varied range of stalls within the bar and main hall areas, and there will be ‘taster’ sessions available with therapeutic practitioners and guest speakers will be offering presentations on health-related topics in the Library.
There will be a range of feel-good activities throughout the day, including a supervised bike ride with BREEZE, and other, music-related, events.
Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle with prizes donated by our stall holders.
