Advice & Information

Knighton is my town, I was born and raised here, after university and living away for many years I returned to knighton to raise my family.
I have 2 children attending the primary school and my oldest travels to our catchment secondary school in presteigne. I am extremely happy with the education and support they receive in both of these settings.
Knowing and understanding the area is something I have gained both by working here and being an active member of the community.
Living rurally has massive perks but can at times leave you feeling isolated and services unobtainable, not everyone has the IT skills, confidence or motivation to make things happen or understand the next steps, not knowing where to turn for help or advice.
My new role allows me to provide the first steps to an advisory service for the community, offering confidential guidance and sign posting within the hub at the centre, by telephone, email, drop in and by appointment.
If you think I could be of any help or support to yourself, family member, friend or colleague then please get in touch or call in to The Comm.
