Bank Volunteer

To support the smooth running of specific and one-off events taking place within the Community Centre or externally, to cover emergency situations such as sick leave or events that are organised urgently (i.e. flood response service)

Role Title: Bank Volunteer
Hours of work: When needed
Base: Knighton & District Community Centre
Accountable to: Annie England

 

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • To read & familiarise yourself with K&DCC volunteer policies and guidelines (located on K&DCC website – volunteer section/paper copies available)
  • To read & sign the volunteer agreement
  • To support event organiser to arrange cover expediently
  • If able to volunteer to do so within the time lines needed
  • To perform tasks delegated to the best of your capabilities

 

Personal qualities/skills required

  • Willingness to undertake training
  • Willingness to process DBS (role dependent)
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Friendly & patient attitude
  • Reliable
